Rachael Ray has very good knives; I have purchased 1/2 dozen of them for myself and as gifts. Also recommend you get the Furi knife sharpener.

The knife is wonderful just like all of the other Rachael Ray stuff that I have purchased. . . but the scisors must be made for people in a rubber room cause I honestly tried to cut paper with them and they would not even do that. I would love to return the scisors and keep the knife. . . FURI needs to improve on their scisors. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received this as a bridal shower gift, and I love the knife but hate the scissors. The knife cuts with such ease while the scissors can’t even cut through paper. Personally I wish I could just return the scissors and keep the knife, but the knife is truly worth the full price for both!

Great starter kit for the novice chef. Gave as a gift to a 10-year-old chef-to-be and he loves them! This kid is already quite accomplished, so the knives are a great addition to his collection of equipment!
